Hello there,
\nI never formally introduced myself, so here it is.<\/p>\n

My name is Dr. Farwa Kazmi<\/strong>, and while I currently live in the UK, I proudly call Rawalpindi, Pakistan my home. I\u2019m an Associate Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM), a Peer Reviewer for the Cureus Journal of Medical Science, and someone who has walked the often exhausting but incredibly fulfilling path of both PLAB and two parts of the MRCEM exams.<\/p>\n

But titles aside, I\u2019m someone who knows what it feels like to look at the MRCEM syllabus at 2 am<\/strong> and wonder,
\n\u201cCan I really do this?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Night It All Started<\/h3>\n

I remember the exact moment I first opened the MRCEM Primary syllabus.<\/p>\n

I was in my House Job, doing COVID rotations \u2014 exhausted, uncertain<\/strong>, and staring at a document that felt more like a mountain than a curriculum.<\/p>\n

Physiology? Pharmacology? Anatomy? I hadn\u2019t touched some of these subjects in years.
\nThe imposter syndrome was loud.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But something in me said, \u201cJust begin.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe secret of getting ahead is getting started.\u201d \u2013 Mark Twain<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Why MRCEM Felt Different<\/h3>\n

Unlike many other exams, MRCEM isn\u2019t just about studying hard \u2014 it\u2019s about studying smart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The pattern is unfamiliar. The syllabus is vast. The time? Never enough.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And yet, I didn\u2019t let that stop me. I created a study plan, figured out how to break down the content, and used every pocket of time \u2014 from early mornings, post-shift evenings, and even lunch breaks \u2014 to just keep going.<\/p>\n

I passed MRCEM Primary while still a House Officer<\/strong>, in the middle of a global pandemic.
\nAnd it wasn\u2019t because I was extraordinary.
\nIt was because I was intentional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
